This one of one upcycled book bag, designed with purpose, was created in preparation for Gangwani’s upcoming trip to New York Fashion Week. Built to meet real needs, more storage, a better fit, and a structure that actually matches his frame, it challenges the limitations of most backpacks, which are often too short, lack depth, and don’t sit right. So he made one that did.
Crafted from a Vietnam era military panel marker case, the exterior is finished with green denim and reinforced with a breathable green mesh interior. Functional details include a mesh cup holder with two buckle straps for security, leather pull tabs on the zippers, a card holder, an interior phone pocket, and a back sleeve for laptop storage and other essentials. Gangwani’s mirrored signature stretches across the front pocket, grounding the piece in both identity and intention.
