“In a world where oxygen is a commodity, a young woman must find a way to provide for her younger sister who suffers from a respiratory disease, or lose her to social services. Gangwani believed in the story and the people he would be working with. According to him the journey was fun, with unique builds and items it encouraged Gangwani to think differently about each individuals liking. The team shot at two separate locations for the house scenes and a shed of which was turned into a grunge boxing ring. It was fast paced with many shots that need adjustments or resets. Food had to be prepared and cooked for the talent; Gangwani loves to cook so he let his culinary expertise light up the screen. There was a lot of planning for each room and how the scenery would deliver. Shooting in all haze allowed this project to take on a different tonality. Props were very specific; paintings were required to be made from a blank canvas… that is not a problem for Gangwani, he treats niche items as an extension of his discipline and trades he can deliver. Gangwani has the objective to understand the meaning of what is being made in order to make a director & writers vision become a reality.
